About The Position

Williams International has an exciting opportunity for an R&O Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an R&O Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, test, cleaning of parts, rework of components, and engine preparation for shipment, plus a variety of other tasks enabling you to quickly become a contributing member of our team, with the possibility of earning FAA Repairman Certification. Additionally, the R&O Technician will: Assemble, disassemble, clean, and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components. Assignments are accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, and/or engine manuals. Stamp work at completion of the operation to ensure compliance to engine manual and quality requirements. Conduct the visual inspection of engine hardware. Maintain work area in accordance with established 6S standards. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret sketches/drawings and use inspection equipment is required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds (4 inches to 25 inches).
  • Capable of pushing or pulling a weight of 60 pounds.
  • Grip strength of at least 50 pounds.
  • Able to reach above the shoulder 65 inches above floor level (minimum).
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year directly working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred.
