About The Position

Williams International has an R&O Technician in our FAA-certified Repair Station. As an R&O Technician, you will work with a team of specialists on our turbine engine products. Responsibilities include assembly, disassembly, test, cleaning of parts, and rework of components, and container and engine preparation for shipment. Additionally, the R&O Technician will: Assemble, disassemble, clean, and conduct rework of gas turbine engines and related components. Assignments are accomplished by following process plans, general work instructions, and/or engine manuals. Stamp work at completion of the operation to ensure compliance to engine manual and quality requirements. Conduct the visual inspection of hardware and record findings on the applicable forms. Maintain work area in accordance with established 6S standards. Document time charges accurately and honestly. Adhere to all safety standards and regulations. Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to read and interpret sketches/drawings and inspection equipment required.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed.
  • Candidates selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years of heavy mechanic experience or 1 year directly working with Williams International gas turbine engines preferred.
  • A&P license is preferred.
