The AstraZeneca US BioPharma Respiratory and Immunology (R&I) Team has a unique position in respiratory diseases such as asthma, COPD, and IPF, with potential new medicines in development. The pipeline also includes promising assets in inflammatory and autoimmune diseases. As a District Sales Manager for the R&I Primary Care Team, you will play a pivotal role in channeling our scientific capabilities to positively impact patients' lives.

Requirements

3+ years of demonstrated Sales, B2B, or Commercial experience, or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry experience.
Proven leadership capabilities and/or people management experience.
A valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Nice To Haves

3+ years of Pharmaceutical Sales Leadership experience.
Exposure and/or experience in other functional areas of the business (e.g., Sales Training, Customer Solutions, Sales Operations, Managed Care, and Marketing).

Responsibilities

Provide inspirational leadership and strategic direction to Pharmaceutical Sales Specialists (PSS) to achieve performance objectives through field day requirements, effective coaching, mentoring, and resource utilization aligned with interpersonal vision.
Develop people and drive business by observing PSS interactions with key customers, providing individual mentorship and feedback for current role success and future growth.
Act as a role model and liaison, encouraging dedication, trust, teamwork, and motivation for the shared vision by facilitating team communication, morale, and efficiency within the work unit and cross-functional teams.
Actively seek to discover and meet the needs of internal and external customers by building relationships, identifying strategic business opportunities, and delivering innovative solutions.
Lead multiple priorities and resources related to individual and group efforts.
Take ownership for redirecting efforts as needed to deliver high efficiency and quality of work from self and others.
Demonstrate strong business ethics, understand basic business principles, and interpret available resources to make sound business decisions to achieve standards of business excellence.
