About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the research and development of products in the Paint Stores and Consumer Brands Groups within the Building Materials Lab. This individual will provide technical support for the Building Materials Team with the primary focus on Sherwin-Williams and White Lightning Branded Caulks and Geocel Sealants. Other support opportunities will be with Uniflex and KoolSeal Roof coatings and Loxon, H&C, and Valspar concrete and masonry coatings as needed. This position is accountable for routine experiments, recording results, and demonstrating basic knowledge of raw materials and basic equipment/computing tools to capture and record data. Has familiarity with scientific principles, products and/or processes. This individual performs basic tasks outlined by manager with progress and results checked regularly. This individual creates and updates reports, executes experimentation, and records results. This individual seeks assistance in setting priorities for scheduling, organizes time efficiently and recognizes routine experiments and selects proper, simple procedures for obtaining desired results to solve problems. Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Requirements

Responsibilities
