About The Position

Scientia Vascular is a leading innovator and manufacturer of endovascular medical devices. We use micromachining and microfabrication processes to manufacture products that provide physicians with enhanced performance for optimal outcomes for their patients. This role contributes to the development of medical devices. Main responsibilities are conducting product performance testing and building prototypes for evaluation.

Requirements

  • High School diploma with minimum 3 years medical device experience
  • Computer skills including understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of GMP and ISO regulations

Responsibilities

  • Conduct product performance bench testing
  • Build or assemble prototype materials, components, subassemblies and assemblies
  • Construct, operate, troubleshoot, adjust, maintain and test equipment, systems or products
  • Perform testing and analyze data and write reports
  • Review or develop processing or manufacturing instructions
  • Maintain detailed documentation through all phases of development, testing and analysis
  • Record data following good documentation practices
  • Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision
  • Perform job functions in accordance with applicable GMP and ISO guidelines
  • Comply with applicable FDA and international regulatory laws/standards
  • Other duties as assigned with or without accommodation
