This position involves routine pilot plant trials, organizing trial materials, sampling trial materials, maintaining equipment, and area cleaning.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 0 to 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Capable of lifting 50lbs independently and perform routine lifting.
  • Self-motivated and able to think independently and solve problems, and to work with minimal supervision in a regulated environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with MS Windows, Access, Excel, and Word.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Pilot Plant equipment operations and maintenance (Blending, Compression, Softgel Encapsulation and Hard-Shell Encapsulation) is preferred.
  • Familiar with documentation requirements for cGMP and 21 CFR Part 111 compliance a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine Pilot trials for sponsored projects (NPD/EPD/Cost savings/ Quality improvement) in R&D Pilot Plant at the Reckitt Salt Lake City- USA site.
  • Document and maintain batch records according to established SOPs and GDPs.
  • Managing the inventory of Raw Materials, Intermediates and Finished Products.
  • Supporting Pilot Plant equipment calibration, preventative maintenance.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices and local regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in technical discussions with feedback on trial results.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the pilot plant operations with respect to new technologies, equipment, procedures and/or processes.
  • Potential to learn Formulation, Equipment Qualifications, Forklift Certification, or other assignments as needed.
