This role involves applying sound engineering methods to investigate, understand, and develop practical process inventions and modifications for high-temperature thin-film extrusion for magnet wire insulation systems. The position requires hands-on technical leadership in the design and execution of extrusion insulation technology. You will interface with R&D Chemists to provide knowledge and develop extrusion technology and processes for new/modified materials. A key responsibility is the development and implementation of products and processes to meet or exceed customer application requirements. Additionally, you will provide technical support for new equipment evaluation, assist with installation, startup, training, and product launch phases, and evaluate prototype equipment, document performance, and recommend modifications. The goal is to develop new processes and products to improve quality, efficiency, and cost of existing extruded insulation products.
