The R&D NIL Stamp Engineer is responsible for NIL master treatment, storage and care, as well as all aspects of the NIL stamp making process including characterization and control of critical success factors, troubleshooting, and process improvements. This role involves becoming a resident expert in stamp making, building systems for data tracking and monitoring, managing equipment servicing and PM schedules, and creating documentation such as travelers, operating procedures, and FMEAs. The engineer will also be responsible for determining and specifying chemicals, documenting tool recipes, troubleshooting and resolving stamp issues, setting up quality check systems, and working with NIL tool vendors to drive improvements. A key aspect of the role is to improve and/or develop new stamp making processes, master treatments, characterization & metrology, and controls suitable for a production environment. The position also includes managing projects from concept to manufacturing, performing DOE analysis, and training technicians and production operators.
