About The Position

De Nora is seeking highly-motivated students to fill an internship position in its Corporate R&D division located at the De Nora Tech facility in Concord, Ohio. The internship is focused on developing robust, innovative technologies and products to facilitate De Nora’s growth in electrode businesses, specifically in the areas of water electrolysis, fuel cells, CO2 conversion, and water treatment. The internship is scheduled for Fall 2026 with a minimum commitment of one semester, with the possibility of multiple semesters based on availability.

Requirements

• Students seeking a B.S. in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science, or related field
• Strong aptitude and desire to work in a hands-on experimental environment
• Safety first attitude
• Ability to work collaboratively in an efficient and timely manner

Nice To Haves

• Ideally, the candidate has classroom and/or laboratory experience related to electrochemistry, electrochemical engineering, or corrosion science
• Previous experience in industrial and/or academic laboratory settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Work within small teams to execute R&D projects to develop new electrode technologies and products
• Help design, build, automate, and operate lab-scale experimental apparatuses to fabricate and test developmental electrodes and related technologies
• Synthesize new catalytic materials, coatings, and electrodes for testing
• Collect experimental data, maintain accurate and complete records, summarize information into tables and graphs, reports, and presentations
• Contribute to new idea generation
