About The Position

All internship positions are designed to give college students an opportunity to apply techniques learned in an academic setting while obtaining new skills. This is a paid internship offering full-time hours during the summer months. All interns are required to conclude the program by giving a formal presentation on their work. Please note that no relocation assistance or sponsorship is provided for the internship program at this time. Position Summary: We seek a highly motivated and creative R&D Intern to work with our R&D team. You will work within a highly dynamic and creative group and assist with developing new products and support current products based on RNAscope technology.

Requirements

  • Must be a currently enrolled student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to the internship
  • Must have completed (at minimum) the sophomore year of college
  • Must be able to work full-time during the duration of the internship program
  • Currently enrolled and pursuing Bachelor’s degree in biology, biochemistry, or related major
  • Completion of introductory undergraduate biology course

Nice To Haves

  • Involvement in academic research outside of coursework is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Participate in the experimental design with Scientific Leader(s), assay execution, data collection and interpretation
  • Execute ISH-based assays to support new product development and assay optimization.
  • Clearly document experimental setup and results.
  • Present results to the project team.
  • Support troubleshooting efforts where needed.
