About The Position

Keysight is seeking an R&D Hardware Engineer Intern to join its Interferometer Electrical and Computer Engineering R&D group. The role supports development of precision position electronics products, including software and electronics that interface with lasers and optics. The intern will assist engineers developing and releasing new products to production, working across product design, analysis, prototyping, testing, and documentation. The position is full-time and in person for 6–9 months, with a minimum three-month commitment; six months is preferred.

Requirements

Pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or EECS.
Good understanding of hardware, including design and analysis.
Strong data analysis skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to function effectively in a team environment.
Ability to quickly learn new technologies.
Experience with high-performance RTL and associated verification and debug.
Experience with PCB physical mixed-signal design tools and flows.
Knowledge of mixed-signal (analog and digital) circuit analysis.
Embedded microprocessor knowledge.
Programming experience with one or more of Linux, Windows, or VxWorks.
Understanding of operating systems and software drivers.
Available to work full-time, in person, for 6–9 months, with at least a three-month commitment.
