About The Position

As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated R& D Formulation Specialist to join our team. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in tablet manufacturing, formulation, or related production processes.
  • Basic to intermediate computer proficiency, including the ability to enter and maintain data in electronic systems, use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) or similar programs, and review digital batch records, SOPs, and technical documents.
  • Ability to perform accurate documentation in compliance with GMP requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in nutraceutical, pharmaceutical, food, or dietary supplement manufacturing.
  • Experience operating tablet presses or similar compression equipment.
  • Experience with formulation scale-up, pilot trials, or process optimization.
  • Familiarity with electronic batch records (EBR), ERP systems, or quality management systems.
  • Experience in gummies and tablets powders is a plus.
  • Understanding of cGMP regulations and documentation practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize nutraceutical formulations for various dosage forms, ensuring manufacturability, stability, and optimal performance.
  • Apply fundamental formulation principles related to material behavior, compatibility, and product performance to create effective products.
  • Evaluate ingredient interactions and their impact on product quality, consistency, and shelf life.
  • Identify and troubleshoot formulation challenges across all formats, utilizing structured problem-solving and root cause analysis techniques.
  • Recommend formulation modifications to enhance product performance, stability, and manufacturability.
  • Develop and refine scalable, production-ready processes for multiple dosage forms, ensuring smooth transition from development to manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance to ensure seamless product development and scale-up.
