About The Position

The Energy Science and Power System Division of the Applied Research Laboratory (ARL) is seeking undergraduates to assist ARL engineers in the areas of mechanical design and analysis, mechanical assembly, and test & evaluation. This work may include the design, assembly and testing of prototype hardware. The work site is located several miles off campus.

Requirements

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen to apply
  • Will be subject to a government security investigation
  • Employment with the Applied Research Laboratory will require successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen
  • Must be eligible to obtain a government security clearance
  • Must participate in the ARL drug testing program
  • Must comply with electronic and physical monitoring requirements applicable to federal contractors
  • Personal electronic devices brought onsite must be registered and may be restricted from certain areas
