Requirements

  • 0–3 years of professional software development experience
  • B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Hands-on experience with embedded systems, microcontrollers, and hardware interfaces
  • Solid understanding of electrical engineering principles, digital design, and electronic components
  • Proven ability to build, test, and debug software across the full development lifecycle
  • Strong proficiency in object-oriented programming and software design principles

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of analog circuit design and mixed-signal systems
  • Experience using digital oscilloscopes or other bench test and measurement equipment
  • GUI development using Windows WPF
  • Proficiency in C++ or C# using Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Experience with Git-based source control workflows
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Bitbucket) in an agile development environment

Responsibilities

  • Own meaningful pieces of the software stack, from low-level algorithm development to customer-facing features.
  • Write and ship application software on Windows and Linux.
  • Develop signal-processing and analysis algorithms.
  • Build self-tests that keep code quality high.
  • Research user needs and translate them into well-scoped work.
  • Collaborate closely with product planners, marketing, and QA.
  • Work in standard agile cycles, including planning, shipping, and iterating.
