The R&D Data and Communication Specialist works with internal data to lead the process flow in the commercialization process. Requirements

Either 5+ years of experience at a blending company OR 2+ years of experience in the fortification development industry
AS/AA Degree – Food Science/Nutrition/Chemistry preferred
Either have process flow and design experience or have production blending experience (both are preferred).
Have a working understanding of Microsoft Excel and Word.
Have experience with reading and working with work orders and technical documentation.
Ability to view a computer screen and type for extended hours
Ability to adjust work schedule as business needs require.
Ensure compliance standards with food safety, food defense, and food quality (FDA, ILDPH, FSMA, and BRC).
Comply with occupational safety and health standards issued under OSHA and to follow all rules, regulations, and procedures established by the Company to ensure that their actions do not impact the health and safety of themselves or others.

Responsibilities

Understand, lead, and monitor the following ECO processes: EN, NM, NE, and FB.
Be the primary lead for R&D and work with other teams to do continuous improvement on the ECO process.
Develop and roll out a process to gather feedback from FB processes from customers and production.
Manage the drive to organize information in multiple systems with the help of other R&D members.
Responsible for the MMR WO R&D sign-off process along with continuous improvement.
Steer the development of a feedback loop for production on blending.
Learn, write, and improve our work order instructions.
Complete other duties as assigned.
