R and D Intern

About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated Laboratory Intern to support experimental research and performance testing of advanced liquid and two-phase cooling systems for data center applications. This role offers hands-on experience with real hardware, precision laboratory instrumentation, and next-generation thermal technologies. You will work closely with experienced engineers while taking ownership of critical experimental activities in a fast-paced R&D environment.

Requirements

Pursuing or completed B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or a related field (pursuing PhD preferred).
Strong understanding of thermodynamics, including heat transfer and phase-change phenomena.
Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, including internal flow and experimental system behavior.
Hands-on laboratory(thermal and Fluid systems) and instrumentation experience.
Ability to apply theoretical principles to practical testing and troubleshooting.
Strong analytical thinking and real-time problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

Properly execute cold plate testing for single-phase and two-phase liquid cooling systems.
Conduct steady-state and transient thermal performance evaluations of Two Phase Cold plate.
Operate and maintain laboratory test rigs to ensure accuracy and repeatability.
Set up and calibrate different sensors, data acquisition systems, and control hardware.
Perform refrigerant charging/discharging and handling in accordance with established safety protocols.
Monitor experiments in real time and troubleshoot abnormal thermal or flow behavior.
Collect, validate, and organize experimental data with strong attention to detail.
Perform data reduction, statistical analysis, and uncertainty evaluation.
Document test procedures, configurations, and results thoroughly and accurately.
Communicate findings clearly through technical reports, plots, and presentations.
