Geosynthetics Quote Specialist This role will be responsible for analyzing customer project requirements, interpreting technical drawings/specifications (such as geotextiles, geomembranes, and geogrids), and preparing accurate, timely, and competitive quotes to win business. This role involves collaborating with sales, engineering, and purchasing teams to determine material costs, logistics, and labor, ensuring all proposals meet industry standards and project specifications.

Requirements

  • Experience: 2–5 years of experience in quotations, estimating, or sales, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial distribution.
  • Technical Knowledge: Understanding of geosynthetics (geotextiles, geomembranes, geogrids) or related construction materials is highly preferred.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) and CRM/ERP systems
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Quote Preparation: Create, analyze, and price detailed quotes based on customer Request for Quotes (RFQs), BOMs (Bill of Materials), and project drawings.
  • Technical Analysis: Interpret complex technical documents, specifications, and drawings to select the appropriate geosynthetic products.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with Sourcing, Purchasing, Engineering, and Sales teams to determine accurate costs and product availability.
  • Vendor Relationships: Liaise with vendors to secure pricing for materials.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update CRM systems, quote trackers, and pricing spreadsheets.
  • Customer Support: Handle inquiries, provide technical information, and follow up on submitted bids.
