About The Position

Quote Specialist Job Summary: Position Overview We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Quote Specialist to support our sales and business development efforts by delivering accurate, timely, and competitive cost quotations. This role is critical to ensuring pricing integrity and margin discipline for custom vehicle builds and customer-specific configurations. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in finance, business, or engineering, coupled with hands-on experience in costing, pricing, or quote development within a manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, analyze, and deliver accurate and competitive cost quotations for custom vehicle builds and customer-specific requirements. Evaluate material, labor, and overhead costs in close collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance teams. Partner with Sales and Business Development to align pricing with margin targets, cost structures, and customer expectations. Maintain and continuously refine costing models to reflect changes in materials, labor rates, processes, or supplier pricing. Interface with dealers and customers to clarify technical requirements, assumptions, and pricing drivers as needed. Track quote performance and support quote-to-order conversion analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at increasing accuracy, efficiency, and scalability of quoting and costing processes. Qualifications Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in costing, pricing, quote analysis, or a related analytical role. Strong analytical, quantitative, and financial modeling skills. Experience working with ERP systems and quoting or costing tools. High attention to detail with a strong commitment to accuracy and data integrity. Preferred Qualifications: MBA or advanced degree. Experience supporting an OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) environment. Background in medium- and heavy-duty bus, truck, or RV manufacturing. ElDorado National California Inc. While we do not typically hire at the top of the salary range, initial offers are based on the candidate’s qualifications and experience, with opportunities for growth and increases over time.The hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year.

Requirements
