About The Position

Additional information can be found at www.ttm.com Scope: The quote team receives quote requests, prioritizes them, imports and runs analysis on data, interprets technical information and enters it into the quote system. Previous experience in the printed circuit board industry is desired.

Requirements

Strong data entry skills
Ability to quickly learn and adapt
Must excel in an environment where details are critical
Computer skills, including Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Ability to work within ITAR and export control guidelines
Strong reading, documentation and problem solving skills are required
Basic math skills are required
Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition of Foreign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.

Responsibilities

Determines the best build location for quantities requested.
Understands how to minimize the cost of a stackup / bill of materials.
Understands how to maximize panel utilization.
Understands basic material properties and can select equivalents
Understands appropriate range for full lead time price, given the technology.
Calculates the minimum lead time to build and checks material inventory.
Can complete single lamination and type-1 HDI quotes with impedance requirements.
