About The Position

EZ Form Cable is seeking a Quotations Specialist to join our team in Hamden, CT. The Quotations Specialist is responsible for supporting the timely and accurate preparation of customer quotations and proposals. This role works closely with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Operations, and other internal teams to gather the information needed to respond to customer requests. The Quotations Specialist will play a key role in improving quote turnaround times, supporting increased sales opportunities, enhancing customer responsiveness, and reporting key information to support strategic discussions with the Program Manager.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Eagerness and ability to quickly learn new products, processes, and systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with ERP systems and/or experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review and manage incoming requests for quotations (RFQs) and proposals.
Prepare accurate and timely quotations based on customer requirements, product specifications, pricing, availability, and lead times.
Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, and other internal teams to gather information necessary to complete quotations.
Review customer requirements and identify missing or unclear information that may impact the accuracy or completion of a quotation.
Manage multiple quotation requests simultaneously while prioritizing work to meet customer and business deadlines.
Communicate quotation status, requirements, and timelines with appropriate internal stakeholders.
Maintain accurate quotation records, supporting documentation, and related information within company systems.
Support product selection and recommendations by working with appropriate internal resources.
Identify opportunities to improve quotation processes, efficiency, accuracy, and turnaround times.
Develop knowledge of company products, processes, systems, and customer requirements to effectively support the quotation process.
Perform other related duties and responsibilities as assigned.
