About The Position

Ferguson is seeking a Quotations Specialist to assist in the development of quotations for Renovations projects. This role involves building strong relationships with branches, vendors, and ensuring excellent customer service. The position focuses on services for Multifamily and Hospitality Renovations and will support customers in assigned regional and national territories. This role is approved to be either Remote within the United States or Hybrid for associates in Newport News, VA.

Requirements

1-3 years of construction-related quotations or estimating experience, required.
Advance proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, Excel, Outlook and Teams.
Ability to read blueprints, construction drawings and technical specifications.
Ability to efficiently multitask in a highly deadline driven environment.
Deep knowledge of product lines, features, benefits, and applications.
Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
Service-minded, innovative, enthusiastic, organized, collaborative, articulate and able to learn quickly.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language.

Nice To Haves

Prior use of Planswift, Quotesoft, Bid Tracer, Salesforce or similar estimating or CRM software, a plus.

Responsibilities

Review project specifications and requirements to create well-structured, detailed proposals that support business and client objectives.
Analyze cost structures and margin targets to produce competitive bids while meeting corporate profitability goals.
Utilize and maintain established SOPs to complete quotation process.
Engage with vendors to obtain accurate pricing lead time and product availability.
Keep current of new products, trends, market cost, and pricing.
Analyze specifications, including sketches, blueprints, bills of material, or sample layouts.
Sends completed quotes to the FEI sales representative and/or customer, builder, or contractor.
Participate in corporate-wide initiatives involving pricing functions or processes.
Participates in associate meetings and communicates any concerns to management.
