About The Position

A Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate provides guest service across Eataly’s various QSR counters, serving gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis, and other Italian treats. The role reports to the QSR General Manager and QSR Assistant General Managers. The associate prepares and serves products, maintains counter displays and stations, follows food safety and sanitation standards, and operates a cash register. The position is onsite with a flexible schedule that often includes evenings, weekends, and holidays. Compensation is up to $18.70 per hour plus tips through a tip pool.

Requirements

Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Ability to operate equipment such as a manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer, and cash register.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a cash register.
Prior food service experience.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provide service across all QSR counters.
Complete food preparation assignments neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Set up stations and replenish displays neatly, including separating allergens such as nuts and wheat.
Ensure all items are dated and follow First In, First Out (FIFO) standards.
Prepare necessary collateral; weigh, label, package, and serve products.
Comply with department policies and quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Operate a cash register and ensure the accuracy of cash drops and the authenticity of bills.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
