About The Position

A Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) Sales Associate provides exceptional guest service across Eataly’s various QSR counters, serving gelato, pastries, coffee, paninis, and other Italian treats. The position reports to the QSR General Manager and QSR Assistant General Managers. The role includes food preparation, station setup and replenishment, product handling and service, compliance with quality and safety standards, and cash register operation. Compensation is $18.70 per hour plus tips through a tip pool.

Requirements

Outstanding communication and guest service skills.
Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule, often including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending, and squatting.
Ability to operate equipment such as a manual espresso machine, drink blender, juicer, and cash register.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a cash register preferred.
Prior food service experience preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide service across all QSR counters.
Complete food preparation assignments neatly, accurately, and in a timely manner.
Set up stations and replenish displays neatly, including separating allergens such as nuts and wheat.
Ensure all items are dated and follow First In, First Out (FIFO) standards.
Prepare necessary collateral; weigh, label, package, and serve products.
Comply with department policies and quality, health, safety, and sanitation standards.
Operate a cash register and ensure accuracy of cash drops and authenticity of bills.
Perform other duties as required or assigned.
