About The Position
At Canucks Sports & Entertainment, we are excited to be in the business of creating memorable moments for our fans and guests. We are now inviting enthusiastic, passionate individuals to join our event staff team and be part of the excitement during Canucks games, Warriors games, and concerts at Rogers Arena. We can’t wait to meet you! Quick Service Cooks have the opportunity to work and receive valuable training in a fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a part-time, hourly, events-based position. A typical shift includes: Performing food preparation for Quick Service stations located on the concourse level with a focus on quality, food preparation standards and consistency Implementing and enforcing sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of the kitchen Other duties as required
Requirements
- Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and holidays with various start times
- Must be able to safely lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to stand during scheduled shift, withstand repetitive walking, reaching, and bending for long periods of time
- A strong understanding of and commitment to uphold our company values of discipline, respect, excellent, attitude, and mindset (DREAM)
- Non-Canadian residents must hold a valid work permit with a minimum of 8 months of validity remaining
- This is an onsite role at Rogers Arena in downtown Vancouver
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a high volume kitchen is an asset
- Completion of Food Safe Certificate is an asset
