About The Position
Our service team is busy and booming at Giles Nissan Opelousas, and we are looking to add a Quick Lube Technician! This entry-level role is perfect for hands-on learners who want to gain practical experience, grow into a full-line certified technician, and thrive in a supportive, team-driven environment, all while enjoying weekends off! We don’t just service vehicles, we help people experience them at their best, and we do it with pride and integrity day in and day out!
Requirements
- 18+ with a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Hardworking, eager to learn, and proud of doing the job right
- Comfortable using tools and performing physical tasks
- Team-oriented, positive, and professional
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy
Nice To Haves
- No prior automotive experience? No problem.
- Automotive, detailing, or customer service experience is a plus, but enthusiasm and attitude matter most.
Responsibilities
- Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, brake pad replacements, and vehicle inspections
- Follow dealership and factory standards on all repair orders
- Communicate effectively with parts department and service advisors
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper care of tools
- Test-drive vehicles and utilize diagnostic tools as needed
- Deliver excellent service and attention to detail on every vehicle
