About The Position

Ford of Arlington is seeking skilled Lube Technicians to join their dynamic and supportive team. The role involves providing outstanding automotive service, repairs, and maintenance for customers. New graduates are encouraged to apply. The technician will perform numerous duties during their shift and must be eager to learn.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18 years or older.
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.
Applicants must have a valid driver's license.
Applicants must complete the pre-employment screening.
Knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations is essential.

Nice To Haves

Technician knowledge/experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Finalize all lubrication services, filter changes, tire rotations and tire repairs.
Complete detailed inspection of the customer's car (i.e., check additional fluid levels, battery, lights, tire pressure).
Inform the Service Advisor of all necessary repairs and preventive maintenance.
Ensure that the customer's vehicle is maintained.
Notify the Service Advisor of any changes to the appearance or condition of the vehicle.
Maintain an organized shop area by guaranteeing all equipment is in proper working order, especially lifts.
Comply with company safety policies and procedures.
Perform work as outlined in the Technician's Repair Order in accordance with the dealership and factory regulations.
Communicate with the Shop Foreman and Parts Department to acquire necessary parts.
