Quick Lube Technician
About The Position
International Autos Group is a family-owned and operated group of dealerships serving customers in Milwaukee, Sheboygan, Chicago, Northwest Indiana, and Minnesota. The Quick Lube Technician performs basic vehicle maintenance according to manufacturer intervals, completes inspections and related documentation, and stays current with manufacturer-provided training. The role requires automotive knowledge, the ability to use electronic diagnostic equipment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Ability to identify problems quickly.
- Good knowledge of automobiles.
- Effective analytical and communication skills.
- Good reading, computer, and mathematics skills.
- Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications.
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Positive, friendly attitude.
Nice To Haves
- Technical degree preferred.
- ASE certifications preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance according to manufacturer intervals in a timely manner.
- Complete multi-point inspection reports.
- Perform the video and photo inspection process.
- Stay current with all manufacturer-provided training.
