About The Position

Berger's is seeking an additional Quick Lube Technician to join their award-winning organization. This position offers a team environment, great benefits, career growth opportunities, and ongoing support. The role involves performing routine vehicle maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid services, as well as tire pressure checks and rotations. Technicians will also conduct multi-point inspections according to GM specifications and communicate any recommended additional services to Quick Lube Advisors. Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and adhering to shop safety protocols are essential. This is an onsite position, Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, with a Saturday rotation from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Physical ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and coachability skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
  • Reliable, trustworthy, organized, and efficient.
  • Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver’s license.
  • Must allow pre-employment screenings, background, driving, and drug test.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation and comply with workplace health procedures as directed by the public health department.

Nice To Haves

  • Prefer prior basic vehicle mechanical experience.

Responsibilities

  • Perform vehicle oil changes, filter replacements, and other routine fluid services.
  • Perform tire pressure checks and adjust air pressure as needed.
  • Perform tire rotations on customer vehicles to ensure even tire wear.
  • Perform multi-point inspections to GM specifications on automotive vehicles.
  • Effectively communicate to the Quick Lube Advisors about any recommendations for additional vehicle servicing(s) based on the multi-point inspections.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to provide customers with a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Must adhere to shop safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned through continued employment.
