About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Automotive Quick Lane Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our fast-lane services, specializing in high-quality routine maintenance, tire services, and basic mechanical repairs. Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Must bring a basic set of hand tools.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience as a lube/tire technician or a strong hobbyist mechanical background is preferred (willing to train the right candidate).
- Holding or willingness to obtain a Vermont State Inspection license is a major plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform efficient oil changes, fluid flushes, and filter replacements.
- Mount, balance, rotate, and repair tires using modern shop equipment.
- Conduct multi-point safety inspections (checking brakes, fluids, belts, and hoses) and clearly communicate findings to Service Advisors.
- Handle basic automotive repairs and replacements (batteries, wiper blades, bulbs, and basic brake jobs).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bay area.
