About The Position

Bob Bell Ford is looking for a Quick Lane Technician / Lube Tech. This is an opportunity to work for a fast-growing, family-owned dealership within the Bob Bell Automotive Group. The position offers a signing bonus of $1,500, with $750 paid after 30 days and $750 after 90 days. The pay starts at $15.00/hour.

Requirements

• Ability to identify the problem quickly
• Good knowledge of automobiles
• Effective analytical and communication skills
• Ability to learn new technology and repair and service procedures and specifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic Computer Skills
• Positive, friendly attitude
• Must have own tools
• Valid and clean driver's license

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred, but we will train the right person!

Responsibilities

• Change tires
• Perform oil changes
• Change batteries
• Drive the vehicle for testing purposes
• Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing as well as repairing vehicles
• Repair or replace worn parts ahead of the vehicle’s breakdown or damage
• Use power tools, machine tools, and common hand tools to perform various tasks
