About The Position

Join a vibrant, fast-paced team that keeps the Garden buzzing, serving great food, great coffee, and even better hospitality every day. As a Quick Cafe Associate, you'll be responsible for providing excellent customer service, serving food and beverages quickly and accurately, maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and operating the cash register.

Requirements

Friendly, approachable, and able to handle customer interactions effectively.
Basic menu knowledge and a general knowledge of the Garden and restaurant
Able to clearly and concisely communicate with customers and coworkers.
Positive interpersonal skills required
Able to perform basic math calculations
Able to stand for extended periods of time and move around quickly.
Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Able to pay attention to detail and ensure accuracy in food and beverage orders
Able to maintain a clean and sanitary workspace
Able to work effectively as part of a team
Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and efficiently
Take and process orders accurately and quickly
Answer customer questions about the menu and specials
Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally
Ensure customer satisfaction with food and service
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established recipes and standards
Maintain a clean and organized workspace
Ensure food and beverage items are fresh and properly stored
Operate the point of sale accurately and efficiently
Handle credit card transactions
Clean tables, counters, and other surfaces
Wipe down spills and clean up trash
Restock supplies as needed
Ensure the cafe is clean, safe, and welcoming for customers
Assist with other tasks as needed, such as stocking shelves, organizing inventory, or helping with special events
Follow all safety and hygiene procedures
Be familiar with and adhere to all company policies and procedures
