Quartz Surfacing Manager About the Role Are you passionate about interior building products that customers love? We're seeking an experienced Quartz Manager to lead our hard surfacing product strategy and drive growth with our largest vendor partnership. In this dynamic role, you'll shape the future of our quartz surfacing business while working with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that exceed customer expectations. As our Quartz Manager, you'll be the strategic voice for our quartz product line-identifying customer needs, positioning products in the market, and rallying our sales team to achieve ambitious goals. What You'll Do Strategic Leadership & Product Management Define pricing strategy and drive sales and marketing initiatives for our quartz surfacing product line Develop volume and share goals by product line and branch, tracking performance to ensure success Manage overall product profitability and define metrics for new product launches Create compelling product vision and build buy-in with internal teams and key vendor partners Market Intelligence & Innovation Conduct market analysis by attending trade shows and visiting dealers and fabricators Assess competitive landscape and identify emerging trends in hard surfacing Collaborate with Residential Specialists and Commercial Spec Team to drive vendor innovation Represent the company by visiting customers to gather feedback and insights Training & Enablement Provide and manage comprehensive training for customer service and territory managers Lead training programs for fabricators, including individual visits and vendor training events Develop and deliver engaging presentations in person and via virtual platforms Marketing & Product Launches Execute successful product launches in partnership with sales managers, Marketing Manager, and territory managers Plan and coordinate routine mailings, email campaigns, and customized marketing collateral Evaluate promotional plans to ensure alignment with product strategy and effective messaging Prepare sales forecasts and develop annual vendor business plans What You'll Bring Required Qualifications 5+ years of proven experience in building supply sales Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to create and deliver effective presentations Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite teams Outstanding organizational and time management abilities Demonstrated problem-solving skills and hands-on work ethic Preferred Qualifications Associate or Bachelor's degree in building trades, business, communication, marketing, or management Experience in the quartz surfacing market or similar building products Track record of managing successful product launches throughout their lifecycle Experience developing product and marketing strategies Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Strong interpersonal skills with proven relationship-building capabilities What Makes You Successful in This Role Strategic thinker who can prioritize activities based on business and customer impact Natural ability to delegate effectively while maintaining accountability Quick learner who can master new computer platforms and CRM systems Self-starter who's willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done Collaborative mindset with excellent cross-functional communication skills Why Join Us? Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in building supply sales
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to create and deliver effective presentations
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and unite teams
  • Outstanding organizational and time management abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and hands-on work ethic
