As a material handler we need someone that is experienced in stocking, checking, wrapping, and loading and unloading materials. Schedule: Tuesday - Friday 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM Primary Objective Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area. Major Function and Scope Operates forklift and/or crane equipment Keys orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS) Verifies stock availability and audits orders for accuracy Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor Follows standard operating procedures Maintains a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlines in the Safety Accountability Policy and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to management Keeps area safe, clean and organized Operates wireless devices (tablet, scanners) and automated equipment Conducts daily cycle counts Performs receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material Performs other related duties as required.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent experience
Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator
1 or more years previous distribution/warehouse experience.
Must have a minimum of 6 months previous stand-up forklift or order picker equipment experience.
No experience required for pallet jack.
Good oral and written communications skills.
Good record keeping skills.
Good listening skills.
Accurate measurement capability.
Ability to understand and speak basic English.
Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

Responsibilities

Operates various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and conveys orders to packing station or shipping area.
Operates forklift and/or crane equipment
Keys orders into Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Conveys picked orders to packing station or shipping area
