About The Position

The Quarry Repairman inspects, maintains, and repairs quarry equipment, machinery, and systems. The role may involve operating heavy equipment, monitoring and adjusting production processes, performing routine machinery maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and diagnosing and resolving mechanical problems. The repairman maintains detailed maintenance and repair records, helps keep the quarry organized, and communicates with team members to support a smooth workflow. The position requires the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. Shift times may vary.

Requirements

• Experience as a fixed plant mechanic.
• Certified welder.
• Understanding of crushing, screening, and power transmission.
• Two or more years of experience in a rock quarry plant is preferred.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Valid driver's license.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous MSHA training is a plus.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of experience in a rock quarry plant.
• Previous MSHA training.
