About The Position

We are looking for a QUARRY TECHNICIAN to join our Martinsburg, VA plant. As a Quarry Technician with Quikrete Heavy Construction Materials you will operate, inspect, and maintain quarry equipment and identify, address, and report any equipment issues to the Quarry Supervisor.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 1–year of industrial, mechanical, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience operating equipment (e.g., loaders, haul trucks, dozers, backhoes, excavators).
• Good organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect operating equipment, complete inspection sheets, and report issues to the Quarry Supervisor.
• Maintain regular communication with the Quarry Supervisor to identify, anticipate, and mitigate potential quarry issues.
• Operate mobile equipment safely in accordance with site procedures.
• Document material addition counts.
