About The Position

PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. Here at our Las Vegas location, we make Gypsum Wallboard. Your job as a Quarry Operations / Recycle Operator is to help assist in the mining operation.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator/Dozer
Ability to operate D-9 Dozer, Excavator and Front-End Loader equipment required to perform duties
Regular attendance is required

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
MSHA preferred
CDL preferred
Previous experience in a manufacturing/mining environment preferred
Previous Mining and Manufacturing Experience

Responsibilities

Run recycle plant and ensure constant and appropriate feed of rock and recycle material to the board plant.
Empty board plant wet reject boxes and end saw material as needed.
Push material in the dome as needed to maintain appropriate rock feed to the board plant.
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
