About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role operates loader equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials, inspects and maintains equipment, and supports production goals by supplying material to crushers, conveyors, and stockpiles. The position requires adherence to all site safety procedures and effective communication with team members.
Requirements
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and confidently
- Strong awareness of safety practices and commitment to following procedures
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment
- Skill in identifying equipment issues and reporting them promptly
- Reliability, attention to detail, and readiness to learn site processes
Responsibilities
- Operate loader equipment safely and efficiently to move and load materials
- Inspect, maintain, and report equipment conditions to ensure reliable operation
- Support production goals by supplying material to crushers, conveyors, and stockpiles
- Follow all site safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily activities
