About The Position

This internship offers an opportunity to use leadership and analytical skills to improve strategic innovation across sectors of the federal government. The intern will work closely with customers to understand their questions and needs, dig into their data-rich environment to find information, and provide a deep understanding of their data and its implications. The role involves using data science and quantum information science for good in the federal government.

Requirements

Experience with research in computer science, quantum technology, physics, chemistry, or mathematics in an academic environment
Experience coding using quantum high-level or machine-level languages
Knowledge of an object-oriented language, including Java, C++, C#, or Python
Ability to perform data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving work
Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
Scheduled to obtain a Bachelor’s degree by Winter 2028

Nice To Haves

Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in CS, Physics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Systems Engineering preferred
Pursuing a Master's degree a plus
