Quantum Error Correction Scientist
About The Position
Logiqal is seeking a QEC Scientist to join their QEC team and contribute to the innovation of their FTQC design and roadmap. This role involves working across the entire QEC stack, from the physical layer to fault-tolerant compilation of algorithms for distributed, modular hardware. The scientist will collaborate with the hardware team to develop practical QEC protocols that utilize Logiqal's unique physical qubit and control architecture to advance FTQC. Ideal candidates will have experience in quantum computer architecture, simulations of QEC protocols (including logical operations), logical gates in qLDPC codes, and/or fault-tolerant compilation of quantum algorithms. Experience or interest in machine learning decoders or ML-driven research is considered a plus.
