About The Position

Kipu Quantum is seeking a quantum engineer to join its Technology team and work on quantum machine learning (QML). The role focuses on developing QML algorithms, packaging quantum solutions as callable services for the client platform and client projects, and exploring encodings and industry use cases for current quantum computers. The engineer will collaborate with quantum algorithm engineers and software developers, with work contributing to the productization of the company’s technology. The position includes designing, implementing, developing, and benchmarking QML models on simulators and real quantum hardware. It also involves improving quantum algorithm engineering, including circuit-depth reduction, problem encoding, and hardware implementation; delivering quantum solutions through the client platform; maintaining existing and delivered client services; and continually improving the productization process. Kipu Quantum provides quantum computing services in machine learning and optimization to business customers worldwide. Its Kipu Quantum Hub platform enables customers to build quantum solutions and run them on quantum and classical hardware without prior quantum-computing knowledge.
