Requirements

  • Ability to speak confidently and concisely.
  • Quantitative thinking and strong data analysis skills.
  • Demonstrated success in working in team-based environments.
  • Training or demonstrated ability to learn programming languages such as C++, C#, and Python.
  • Ability to effectively use AI tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness while maintaining independent judgment.
  • Ability to live in or relocate to Chicago.
  • Graduation date of December 2026-Spring 2027.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with order execution, trade checking, and trade reconciliations.
  • Participate in strategy meetings and collaborate with the team on position management.
  • Lead and participate in quantitative development projects that enhance trader-facing technologies.
  • Participate in quantitative research and the application of quantitative strategies, learning the concepts behind core market-making operations.
  • Perform analyses on large data sets and extract insights to support trading strategies.
  • Engage in continuous, hands-on training including option valuation, game theory, hedging, portfolio analysis, and simulated trading games to learn option pricing and financial engineering.
  • Partner with teammates to exchange ideas, solve problems, and contribute to a high-performing team environment.
