As a Quantitative Analytics & Model Associate within PNC's Data, Modeling, & Analytics organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh or Philadelphia, PA. Performs advanced quantitative analysis and model development through the application of statistical techniques with limited supervision. Performs statistical and quantitative analysis and model development to support decision-making by running statistical strategies and working with various asset classes. Analyzes and develops new model frameworks in order to support the needs of the line of business. Refines, monitors and reviews existing models. Conducts on-going communication with model owners and model developers during the course of the review. Works with large data to create models. Peforms and analyzes quantitative statistical analysis and develops financial reports. Analyzes qualitative and quantitative assessments of all aspects of models including theoretical aspects, model design and implementation as well as data quality and integrity. Analyzes complex financial reports and associated statistical analysis. Analyzes existing models and make recommendations. Uses quantitative tolls and technique to measure and analyze risks. Uses quantitative tools and techniques to evaluate identified model risks and reaches conclusions on strengths and limitations of the model. Prepares and analyzes detailed documents for validation and regulatory compliance. Requirements

  • Bachelors degree
  • University / college degree with < 1 year of professional experience and/or successful completion of a formal development program. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Design analytical models to assess the risk of the card portfolio.
