About The Position

The Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit offers a full range of low-voltage power distribution and control products that deliver safe, reliable, and efficient electrical solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial markets. Transform the everyday with us We are looking for a Quality Test Technician to join our team! This position will be based at our Fort Worth, TX site. Shift Hours: 1st Shift

Requirements

  • 1+ years in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to pass NFPA70E certification; training will be provided by Siemens.
  • Speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language along with Blueprints/engineering drawings.
  • Basic computer skills and use of basic mechanical/measuring/inspection tools.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • SAP Experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the quality standards and applicable codes are met through completing inspections, design reviews, testing operations (mechanical) and troubleshooting.
  • Deliver specialized support services towards mechanical testing support for electromechanical equipment (e.g. Low Voltage Switchgear, Switchboards, etc.).
  • Test and inspect the mechanical aspect of Switchboards, Panelboards, and Breakers to applicable standards (UL1558, UL891, IEEE, UL50, UL67, etc.)
  • Preparing finished units for shipping (packing, sealing, labeling, etc.).
  • Perform inspections/audits of mechanical assemblies while maintaining all the related records and reports.
  • Understand and train ISO Quality Requirements, Product Safety Requirements and JHA.
  • Performs other work as advised by Supervision.
  • Interact with various of departments and customers routinely.
