Requirements
- Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field and 2 years of experience with electronic/electrical system validation activities on machines including interpreting machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
- Alternatively, will accept master’s degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field and 6 months of experience with electronic/electrical system validation activities on machines including interpreting machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
Responsibilities
- Work on quality assurance and testing for grade machines such as excavators, tractors, motor graders, pavers, and tractor scrapers.
- Evaluate dealer and customer complaints from warranty.
- Interpret machine electrical schematics for troubleshooting and testing.
- Perform on-machine testing and validation; electrical system validation activities on machines.
- Identify engineering issues, investigate causes, and establish priorities for resolution to improve quality and reduce warranty costs.
