Requirements

Minimum 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment (3-5 years preferred).
Hands-on manufacturing experience, preferably in precision machining, metal stamping, tooling, or related industries.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T requirements.
Strong understanding of precision measurement techniques and inspection methods.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, diagnose, and resolve quality-related issues.
Effective communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally with customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
Must be a U.S. Citizen or otherwise able to comply with U.S. export regulations.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100, or similar quality system experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process, setup, first-piece, final, and receiving inspections on precision manufactured components.
Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, indicators, height gauges, microscopes, granite surface plates, and automated inspection systems.
Support First Article Inspections (FAI), Capability Studies, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Gage R&R studies, PPAP, and APQP activities.
Verify product conformance using blueprints, engineering specifications, GD&T requirements, and quality plans.
Analyze inspection data and prepare reports that support quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
Calibrate and maintain measurement and inspection equipment to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality concerns and improve product quality.
Assist with troubleshooting manufacturing and inspection issues through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Review new tooling and product launches to ensure quality requirements are met from the start of production.
Maintain accurate inspection records, quality documentation, and in-process inspection procedures.
Utilize computers and automated inspection technology to record results and manage quality data.
Maintain a safe, organized, and professional work environment while following all company safety procedures.
