About The Position

A Quality Technician will support daily quality activities across warehouse operations with a strong focus on quarantine inventory, process compliance and quality improvement. This position requires a high-level attention to detail to yield safe and accurate results.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required. A combination of acquired education and equivalent experience may be considered.
  • 1 – 3 years of actual working quality experience in a manufacturing, logistics or warehouse setting.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve issues and ability to effectively communicate findings and resolutions in written or oral format.
  • Ability to work independently and obtain proper time management of tasks.
  • Actual work experience with various Warehouse Management System (WMS).
  • Intermediate level computer skills: Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with inventory control, quality inspections, audits or nonconforming material is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain quarantine inventory across two company locations.
  • Verify physical quarantine inventory matches system inventory.
  • Ensure nonconforming material is properly identified, segregated and tracked.
  • Communicate quarantine status and material dispositions with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Conduct weekly process surveillance to verify compliance with Work Instructions and quality requirements.
  • Investigate quality concerns and support containment activities.
  • Collect information and documentation to support customer complaints and corrective actions.
  • Track and follow-up on assigned corrective actions.
  • Maintain quality records, audit results and other documentation.
  • Identify recurring issues and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Support internal, customer and ISO audits as needed.
  • Serve as a visible quality resource on the warehouse floor and work closely with Operations.
  • Ability to use a RF scanner.
  • Complete other duties as assigned by Management.
