About The Position

The Quality Technician will perform standardized tests on the product and notify production and management immediately when product is out of specification. This role will also assist in managing the retain program by creating retain samples for all inbound and outbound loads for 6-month storage. The technician will complete paperwork as directed using good documentation practices, monitor the shared lab email inbox, and ensure timely responses. Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace, performing regular cleaning and maintenance on lab equipment, and notifying management when supplies are running low are also key responsibilities. The role involves providing information to production staff and management upon request, communicating safety or quality concerns to plant management and corporate quality, and keeping the lab neat and clean. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • Proficiency with Office 365 (primarily Excel, SharePoint, Outlook)
  • Reliable, Organized, Efficient, Attention to detail
  • Clear verbal communicator
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ year laboratory experience
