About The Position

Dynamic Sealing Technologies (DSTI) of Andover, MN is looking to hire a Quality Technician. This role is in a clean, modern manufacturing environment and is ideal for someone who enjoys working with precision parts and wants a role where they can learn and grow. In this role, you'll inspect parts, verify quality standards, and work closely with manufacturing to ensure everything meets customer and company requirements. DSTI provides training on their systems and processes, and the candidate only needs to be comfortable using a computer and willing to learn.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to work with precision parts
• Ability to problem solve and make sound decisions in a production environment
• Comfortable using a computer (Microsoft Office or similar systems)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with CMM and other inspection equipment.
• Reading Engineering drawings and basic GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming and finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Use measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Handle and examine precision machined components.
• Conduct visual inspections (welds, plating, surface finishes).
• Document inspection results and support production teams.
• Work with engineering and manufacturing to resolve quality issues.
