This role will assist Quality Engineers and Associate Quality Engineers in coordinating and implementing quality control objectives and activities to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize cost. The position involves coordinating with Test engineers to perform test inspections, performing audits on fuel, coolant, and oil filtration systems, and analyzing/validating test data and process quality check sheets. The Quality Technician will also process test deviations, support military inspections and required paperwork, and assist with tool and gauge calibration and calibration process improvements. Additionally, the role includes performing audits on paint, tools, final assembly, and preventative maintenance, investigating line calls to determine root cause, and assisting in OPTICS audits to verify corrective measures. The technician will support monthly military customer audits, provide data on quality concerns, monitor the calibration program, and ensure good health and safety practices are followed. The role also involves assisting in developing and implementing quality audits of production and operations, promoting good housekeeping, and fostering a compliance culture in line with the Rolls-Royce Code of Conduct.
