Quality Technician - Night Shift

About The Position

Sabert is seeking a Quality Technician to provide technical support and training to quality-related operations personnel. The role conducts tests, visual inspections, and statistical process control (SPC) data analysis to ensure products meet internal and external specifications. This is a night-shift role with a 12-hour schedule from 5:15 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. on a 2-2-3 work schedule. The listed hourly rate is $21.75, plus a $1 shift differential.

Responsibilities

Ensure quality protocols and the Scrap Protocol are followed.
Ensure sampled parts meet manufacturing specifications.
Audit assigned production lines and report and help resolve quality issues.
Ensure quality data is entered into the appropriate database.
Work with the Supervisor to rework small quantities of production on hold when consistent with the Scrap Protocol.
Audit product and processes to verify conformance to standards and specifications.
Write and submit audit reports to supervisory personnel as required.
Perform tests required by the Quality Matrix.
Recognize common visual defects.
Prepare required paperwork and forms.
Communicate with personnel involved and work as part of a team to help solve operations issues.
Communicate quality-related information to the Operations & Quality Manager.
Perform all job functions safely.
Provide technical support and training to quality-related operations personnel.
